From his father’s round to his own business
Nigel Mitchell, Complete Cleaning Solutions’ owner and operator, is a Canterbury native. After ten years shadowing his father in his window cleaning business, Nigel took over the family business. He has been providing services to businesses and individuals ever since, and has prided himself on the trust he has gained.
The earthquake, and the pivot
After the earthquake in Christchurch, many of Nigel’s window cleaning clients no longer required his services. He decided to branch out into a wider scope of cleaning work that Cantabrians needed at the time. During this period Nigel named the business Complete Cleaning Solutions, wanting to be the one stop shop for all his customers.
Since then the business has taken on builders cleans, a job in hot demand with so much construction and repair work going on in Christchurch. Nigel branched into carpet cleaning after a shoulder surgery, completing the required courses during his fourteen week recovery. In 2014 he obtained his elevated platform licence, which lets the company clean windows at height.
